Yamaha Maintenance Schedule
Annual / 100 Hour Service
Replace engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, spark plugs, and engine fuel filter. Replace boat-mounted fuel/water separating filter. Inspect/grease propeller. Inspect anodes and thermostat(s). Grease all lube points. Visual inspection.
3 Year / 300 Hour Service
All of the items that are covered in the annual service plus: replace anodes and thermostat(s). Inspect fuel pump. Replace impeller/water pump housing.
5 Year / 500 Hour Service
Replace engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, spark plugs, and engine fuel filter. Replace boat-mounted fuel/water separating filter. Inspect/grease propeller. Inspect/replace anodes and thermostats. Inspect/replace fuel pump and impeller/water pump housing. Inspect/adjust valve clearance. Replace oil control valve filter and VST filter. Replace internal anodes. Grease points. Visual inspection.
10 Year / 1,000 Hour Service
The ultimate Yamaha life-extension service. Full inspection of all critical components, major seals, and advanced diagnostic testing for long-term reliability. This service includes all that is done at the 5 Year/500 Hour PLUS: Replace timing belt. Replace tensioner.
